A Team from the Industrial Technology Research Institute of Zhengzhou University Visited Hengrui Technology for Industry-University-Research Docking

On March 26, 2025, a relevant team from the Industrial Technology Research Institute of Zhengzhou University visited Hengrui Technology to carry out industry-university-research docking activities. The purpose of this docking activity was to build a communication bridge between universities and enterprises, explore new cooperation models, promote the transformation and implementation of scientific and technological achievements, and assist the innovative development of enterprises. Dai Zijian, Deputy Director of the Management Committee of Luohe Economic and Technological Development Zone, accompanied the visit.

On that day, experts and key scientific research personnel from the Industrial Technology Research Institute of Zhengzhou University arrived at Hengrui Technology under the leadership of relevant responsible persons. Wang Junshao, Director of the Administrative Center of Hengrui Technology, introduced in detail the enterprise’s development history, business scope, core products, as well as the current technical problems and innovation needs. As an enterprise with certain influence in the industry, Hengrui Technology has been committed to the research and development, production, sales, and application services of modified starch products. However, with the intensification of market competition and the rapid iteration of industry technologies, the enterprise is in urgent need of relying on the scientific research strength of universities to break through technical bottlenecks and enhance product competitiveness.

The research institute team successively visited the enterprise’s R&D laboratory and pilot production line. Through on-site inspections, team members had a more intuitive understanding of the enterprise’s production process and technical requirements, providing a more detailed basis for the formulation of subsequent cooperation plans. The two sides had in-depth discussions on aspects such as technological innovation, product upgrading, and talent cultivation.

This industry-university-research docking activity laid a good foundation for the in-depth cooperation between the Industrial Technology Research Institute of Zhengzhou University and Hengrui Technology. Both sides stated that they would take this docking as an opportunity to further strengthen communication and collaboration. In the future, the two sides will give full play to their respective advantages, achieve resource sharing and complementary advantages, and move forward hand in hand on the path of scientific and technological innovation and industrial development, contributing to local economic development and the progress of industry technologies.
